Maria Pierce-Ford, Principal

Greetings:

As principal of Cumberland International Early College High School, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to this extraordinary educational opportunity to earn college credit while completing a high school diploma. It is a privilege to lead this learning community and be a part of Fayetteville State University.

Cumberland International Early College High School’s challenge is to prepare students to be globally competent to graduate from college. Each student will graduate prepared to communicate, collaborate, and compete locally, nationally and internationally. In order to accomplish this task, we create a learning environment that pursues a common purpose with dedication, discipline, and compassion; maintains a culture of honor, integrity, honesty, and equity; and that builds a community based on shared communication nurtured by hope and support. Our staff truly believes that excellence is the expectation.

Our partnership with Fayetteville State University will equip our students with the tools to be successful as they continue their education and careers.

We are proud to be part of the Cumberland County School system that offers students a choice in order to maximize his/her potential by pursuing a program that addresses his/her personal interests and learning style.
