Cumberland International Early College High School was identified by Newsweek Magazine as one of America’s Top Ranked High School.  Cumberland International Early College High School was ranked in the top 1% of all high schools in the nation.  Cumberland International was chosen for this distinction for doing the best job of preparing students for college.  Cumberland International was also ranked 41st on the  Newsweek’s “Beating the Odds” list, which seeks to identify schools that do an excellent job of preparing their students for college while also overcoming the obstacles posed by students at an economic disadvantage.  Way to go CIECHS.  Read More

Free Meals to Students …..  Summer Feeding Flyer

CCS participates in a USDA Summer Feeding Program that offers free meals for children up to age 18.  All children eat free, regardless of income, and no application is required.  We would appreciate your help in making the community aware.  Feel free to share information with your family, friends, neighbors, clubs, church members, etc.  so as many children as possible can benefit from this program.

New this year….Spring Lake Middle School Cafeteria will be open from 11:30a to 12:30p Monday thru Thursday for free meals for children.  Parents may walk into the SLMS cafeteria with their children, so the children can receive a free meal.  Please note, all meals must be eaten on site.

Additional sites include the following recreation center locations: Cliffdale, College Lakes, Eastover Central, Grays Creek, Kiwanis, Lake Rim, Massey Hill, Pine Forest, Smith, Spivey, Stedman, Stoney Point, Westover, and EE Miller Recreation Centers.

This summer’s menued entrees will include   Chicken Fillet, Pizza, Hot Dog, Hamburger, and a Deli Sandwich.  In addition, the meals will include a vegetable, fruit, milk, and occasionally a dessert.
